Break of serve down in the 5th set but still swinging. Passions are horse racing, tennis, snooker. Seeking ultimate enlightenment. 'What you seek is seeking you'. Dublin, Ireland.
Clem Burke. One of the best to ever do it. And one of the coolest too. God rest him. t.co/cnoroAjJEC

Ah Denis Law. One of the greats. Great player and great fella. Always had a twinkle in his eye. Everyone loved Denis. God rest him.

The great Tony Book has sadly passed. The term 'club legend' is often misused these days but Tony really was Mr Man City in a golden age as player, 'skip', manager and ambassador. With Tony's passing a little bit of the soul of the club has gone with him. God rest him.

More sad news with the passing of Tony Slattery. He really was great craic on one of my favourite shows, Whose Line Is It Anyway. God rest him.

Shane McGuirk. World Champion. Hopefully he can kick on. Massive props to old favourite Paul Lim who put up a great fight. Maiden final at 70 years of age is some achievement.

Great story no matter who wins today's Lakeside World Darts Final with our own Shane McGuirk vs ever popular Paul Lim. Shane is the big fav having not dropped a set all week. And yes the quality is not what it was but for Paul to be doing this at 70 years of age is amazing.

Very sad news with the passing of Welsh legend, 1979 World Champion Terry Griffiths. Great player and later a coach. 'I'm in the final now you know'. God rest him. www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8kH...

Great comeback from 5-3 down for World Champ Bai Yulu to win her 3rd successive UK Champs qualifier in a row. She is impressive. Now a tougher assignment against Jack Lisowski on Judgement Day for a place in the main draw. Jack is none too reliable so it could be interesting.

Ah Jon Kenny. So sad. An Irish comedy legend. So many laughs. He really was Unbelievable. God rest him.
