Release conditions for federally-charged Blazers Coach Chauncey Billups altered slightly today- instead of having to gain permission from court to transfer $10,000 or more of money, he now must report monthly to pretrial services/feds any transactions that exceed $25,000 w/ backup documents.

Oregon National Guard troops were at Portland’s ICE facility hours after a judge on Oct. 4 barred their deployment in the city, a USDOJ lawyer admitted in court Monday.

Lawyers for Oregon submitted a memo to the federal court Tuesday that reveals Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth this month ordered the extension of the federal deployment of 200 CA Natl Guard troops to OR until Feb. 2, and 200 TX Natl Guard to Oregon through Dec. 4.

Security guard from The Gan Jewish preschool in SW Portland got into a confrontation with a man in the back lot of the adjacent Fanno Creek Medical Clinic and shot him. @PortlandPolice said there’s nothing to indicate the Jewish school was targeted.
