System? Just tax the ultra rich.

You can see this by comparing costs of drugs in USA vs. Other nations, admin costs per capita (USA is highest), and just general service bills.

See, you say that this is the case but it’s experimentally untrue. Free market USA has some of, if not the highest medical costs per capita of any nation. Patient autonomy still exists. Just whatever option the patient chooses will be cheaper.

Quite simple really. Taxation funds go into public services and supports which help out the working class population. Allowing them to evade poverty. Think subsidized housing, funding of public education, free meals at school so children don’t go hungry. “Radical”, I know 🙄

I don’t see how you’re drawing the conclusion that free markets focus on individual care and doctor-patients relationship. That’s a complete misnomer.

Yes, health insurance in the US is not a good system. Capitalistic companies (insurance and hospital) bleed people dry by overcharging on premiums and services without delivering. However, good public healthcare (socialist) already successfully exists in numerous countries.

You are incredibly misled. Free markets create a few rich people, not a rich population. This has been thoroughly tried and tested, we don’t need to speculate on the outcome. Taxation of the rich and redistribution into public services and benefits to the working class, THAT reduces poverty.

Quite the opposite. Without taxes there would be no public services, so only the rich would be able to access privatized, expensive services such as healthcare… oh wait the US already lacks public healthcare…
