To estimate the sum of a column of 2-digit numbers:

- Sum all the first digits in the list
- Take that sum and multiply it by 15
- This works because the average value of the second digit (in the ones place) is around 5.0.
The quick formula for summing up all two digit numbers in a sequence: multiply all the first digits by 10 and then multiply that sum by 50% and add it to the orignal sum.

The U.S. government claims on Reyes Mota’s I-213 form, a document the Department of Homeland Security uses to support that someone is deportable, that he “may be a Tren de Aragua associate.” But in those same documents, the government says he has no criminal records or immigration history in the United States. The government also uses someone else’s last name in several parts of the document, identifies him with female pronouns, and uses two different unique identification numbers that immigration authorities use to keep track of individuals, raising questions about the reliability of Trump officials’ accusations against him. After Prada pointed out the mistakes and argued there is no evidence Reyes Mota was a Tren de Aragua member, the judge asked whether the government had made a mistake. Lawyers for the Department of Homeland Security said this was not a hearing to analyze evidence but that they would look into it. However, there are no more hearings for the foreseeable future.

My women's college basketball bracket is perfect so far (21-for-21):

I beat all the celebrities last year too.
I picked South Carolina to win it. I am beating every single one of the "celebrities" (Mike Greenberg, Chris Canty...Taylor Tannebaum?). Last year, I finished in the 100th percentile, ranked 21,618th globally. Chris Canty and Mike Greenberg finished best among all celebs (ranked 35,000th and 90,000th, respectively).

You can determine any goalie's SV% and GAA from both parts of the formula.

SV% = flip the formula and divide: [TOIs / SA] / [TOIs / S]
GAA = flip the formula and take 60^2 divided by both TOIs variables:
[3600/TOIs / SA] - [3600/TOIs / S]

Caitlin Clark and the Kelces preferring lakes to oceans is making me lose it. If you touch the bottom of a lake you're going to get leeches or tetanus from a tin can. Any beach, stream, creek, or rapids is preferable to the lake. The word "Lake" even sounds like some kind of prehistoric parasite.

If correlation coefficient = 0, when one set of numbers is ordered (either smallest to largest or vice versa), is the other "random?" Or is it "disordered?"
