Literally me, when I was a kid I ate 3 slices of cake and then just watched other kids play. Later I found out about yoghurt cakes which allowed me to successfully break 3 slices limit

Frankly it was cheaper, it was like "hey man you keep all the innovations and cool tricks we only need the port", and it never went away, non-competitive agreements and company secrets are everywhere. iirc fallout shelter was reskinned for multiple customers despite being developed for Bethesda
