HBD Rachel Brown (1898-1980), inventor of Nystatin, 1st antifungal medicine in the world! Born in Springfield, MA, in 1948, she, along with Elizabeth Hazen, discovered an antibiotic to combat fungal infections, earning them the Pioneer Award from the American Institute of Chemists. bit.ly/49TYk5F
