Well, the normalization of this kind of dumb shit is exactly why.

I tell some people it's better for working in Tech, just to avoid the conversation. But realistically I'm just sick of all of this.

So I've been trying to eat healthier and mostly cut out sodas, drinking stuff like @drinkliquiddeath.bsky.social and sugar-free drinks instead. I've lost like 15lbs over a few months. But damn, everything's too sweet now. Can't even drink Mt Dews anymore.

At least I can still do slushies though.

There is something indescribably cool about talking to a couple leaders of a small company that you love, and taking them into moving their e-commerce to the platform you work for.

Been running a fun experiment (not recommending this): letting Claude Opus 4 Deep Research pick my stocks for 3ish months

Started at $1,062 after taking a loss (the dip in the graph). Now at $1,637 (+54%)

I think my favorite part of the AI code tooling, is the fact that I can bang out any random stupid idea I have without putting much thought into it as long as I give it clear instructions up front.

...I guess that could probably be a bad thing too. 😅

I pulled my Claude Code stats last week and I've used ~3.4 BILLION tokens since April.

How much is too much? Asking for a friend.

It's all so wonderfully fucked up!

since this keeps going around, a few common clarifications:

- no pay-to-play. we won’t prioritize comments of subscribers
- we don’t plan to do Twitter-style “paid checkmarks”
- if we do add a “supporter” profile badge, it will be hideable
- bookmarks will be free (when we get to them)
