I drink coffee and I draw things. I used to make things from pixels also from trees.
Another fountain pen sketch from December - from The French Bakery at Crossroads mall in Bellevue that I will go back to and paint over at some point. I’ve forgotten what color the espresso machine was, so I may use that as an excuse to go have another baguette.

Went back and painted a sketch from earlier in the month. I started normally on the right page but then pulled the left side into a kind of zoomed fisheye. The couple were both on their phones doing sales and customer service for their business (garage doors) in Diva Espresso’s Wallingford location.

A favorite from #Flagstaff visit back in 2022 - A cool little sculpture at Museum of Northern Arizona (Recommended stop) my favorite from that sketchbook.

Fun to look back and see what I was doing a few years ago - this was 9/2022 - kinda muddy, may have to go Visit #Flagstaff again for another go at this.

A #FigmaMake app I am working on on that makes a single line drawing from a pic. A lot more to do to tune density of scribble but a promising start for exporting to the #Axidraw to then have it draw with fountain pen and I can watercolor over it. The selfie is daughter and I at Sounders ~10yrs ago…

National Pantheon, Lisbon - on a rare rainy day - view through trees from a park nearby - you can see water spots from the rain in the green - had to stop as rain picked up.

A bit of the huge monastery in Lisbon. I was there when the lines were insane with tours so didn’t try to get in, meant to get back but it didn’t happen.

Quick sketch - view of viewers of the view - the person on the left was pointing and explaining everything to the two on his right in a very animated way. This is the overlook opposite the Adamastor statue.

Still need to look up who the statue is of… He’s telling a story I assume, this is right outside the Metro exit, a stones throw from the oldest continuously operating bookstore in the world. I still intend to paint it…

Fountain and blooming tree in park by the Kiosque De Alegria where we hung out waiting to meet a tour guide. Unfinished- still intend to paint from reference photo I took at the time of drawing.

Lazy lion on statue - General Marquez De Sa Da Banderia - and no I have not looked up the general, I just enjoyed the lazy lion, the one on the other side was even lazier but didn’t have the interesting shadows on that side when I was there.
