Trump/Project 2025 playbook - paint the govt and/or infrastructure as broken, drowning under DEI legislation, under attack from violent criminal immigrants - smooths the way for autocratic rule. I never understood why there wasn’t more push back from the Dems about how strong the US pre Nov 24.

It’s interesting to me that the people who make these types of preposterous statements are those who will, through grift or theft or inherited wealth, never be on the receiving end of ChatGPT social care. They are morally bankrupt.

It’s hard to imagine a female candidate in her late 70’s, carrying some very obvious excess weight and with many chins, who is prone to heavy-handed fake tan application and wild diatribes on the merits of Annie Wilkes, getting ANYWHERE NEAR a presidential nomination.

Putting aside personal opinions of any candidate (past or present), it’s really important to keep in mind the punishing double standards that all female candidates for public office have faced and continue to face. No doubt analysis of coverage of Harris’s campaign would produce similar results. 1/2

I have a theory that the Grauniad is increasingly using AI to produce tissue-thin pieces of reporting and then somehow pressuring a real live human to add their name as author. It can be the only explanation for some truly dire content recently.
