Interesting, for sure we’ll see at the end of the 90.

Think any of the Saudi talk is real? - I don’t think they’ll bite in Jan, maybe the summer.

It’s like that terrible uncle unleashing his Daily Mail induced rants on Facebook.

Perfectly put.
December 7, 2025 at 8:45 PM
It’s not even that, it’s the feeling that something else is going on in the background, like they are lining him up to be sold. Doesn’t feel the Liverpool way, the general mood, vibe , message , something has gone drastically wrong. What took Klopp years to build has really fallen from grace.
December 7, 2025 at 5:55 PM
Against the Liverpool way, even Klopp came out and said he didn’t know Liverpool could spend like they did. But to do so and drop so far from last season is where the real witch hunt should be, what has gone on at boardroom level and what influence did Slot get in it. Now it’s bad, Mo has become the
December 7, 2025 at 4:57 PM
He’s literally one of the best in the world at that position. The choice is limited across the team - that’s the point, when you spend upwards of £400mil you should not be in a position like this. Fault lies at Hughes & Edward’s for looking at the business not the *team. Daft transfers that went
December 7, 2025 at 4:57 PM
Up to be sold on in Jan and made the issue, when in reality, poor transfers, poor team selection, poor game management and poor strength in depth are the reasons for the decline this season.Mo is being made a victim so it’s easier to sell him in Jan.This will be true if that’s what goes on to happen
December 7, 2025 at 2:23 PM
Slot is the manager, it’s his job to get the best out of players. Mo has never contributed defensively- but he’s also not the reason for shipping 24 goals this season. He was until last night, joint top goal scorer this season. To drop him without any mention of another player, shows he’s being set
December 7, 2025 at 2:23 PM
Exactly!! That’s no Mo’s fault that the ineptitude of the hierarchy spent near £200m on two strikers but didn’t think to prioritise a defence where one CB is in the last months of his contract and the other is at the end of his career! But it’s Mo’s fault? - this is the point.
December 7, 2025 at 12:17 PM
Again, disagree. As he points out , pundits like Carra always seem to pick out Mo as the one to be dropped. Lose 3-0 back to back and it’s Mo’s fault? Not VD with a random handball not Gravenberch and his inability to plug gaps, not Ibou and his lack of effort. It’s Mo for not scoring?
December 7, 2025 at 10:28 AM
Hold on. No player plays for free, because he gets paid £400k a week it’s more of a reason to drop him? Prior to last night he was joint top scorer with Gakpo this season.now because he hasn’t scored in a few games he should be dropped? But it’s fine to concede 3 goals a game and no CB gets dropped?
December 7, 2025 at 10:25 AM
The likes of Carra and Sky sports don’t talk about any other player being dropped, it’s always Mo. It’s a huge cock up at club level that they haven’t brought in the right players, in the right positions. Again £200m on 2 players who play in the same position and not other 1st choice CB, madness.
December 7, 2025 at 12:21 AM
Again thou, that speaks to issues in the wider squad that we’ve an over reliance on one player. A player who is world class , has clearly had a rough time over Jota and lost his right back that enabled him to be the player he was. You can’t honestly say that this club form is down to him.
December 7, 2025 at 12:21 AM
Diaz is a weird one. It was a good deal, not against it. But not getting a like for like replacement then saying that by not doing so was allowing Rio a route to first team , but never playing him was strange one.Again an issue overlooked, the more you scratch ,the more( I think )you see Mo’s point.
December 7, 2025 at 12:13 AM
Death to cinema. This needs to be opposed by everybody.
December 7, 2025 at 12:09 AM
Prior to this evening he was joint top scorer with Gakpo. No mention of Gakpo being benched thou. Or any other attacker. His form has been better than others, it’s just not been better then his own form in previous seasons, that’s what people are seeing.
December 7, 2025 at 12:04 AM
Yes and no, agree public bursts aren’t pretty but I also think when pushed abs it does feel this way, you have to fight your corner. Especially if you’ve given it all and people drag your name in the mud, man loves the club. Find it odd to think he would say this without cause.
December 6, 2025 at 11:54 PM
Otherwise the likes of Edward’s and Hughes have to put hands up and say, we shouldn’t of tanked near £200m on two strikers but not got a CB when one of our current choice is in the later stages of his career and the other is 7/10 at best but also at the end of his contract. That’s poor management.
December 6, 2025 at 11:52 PM
I just think we have forgotten what a player he’s been for the club. And this does feel like a way of papering over what is looking like frankly awful transfer business. Business that I don’t think was done in tandem with Slot and is showing hugely in the squad imbalance. Patsy is needed and it’s Mo
December 6, 2025 at 11:52 PM
And that’s the point!! Again, we spent £400+m and had no CB replacement to fill for a player woefully underperforming - why isn’t this the issue, instead they’ve gone - Ah Mo hasn’t scored 15 goals to buy us out of this mess, he needs to be dropped instead. It’s a farce ,club has themselves to blame
December 6, 2025 at 11:45 PM
But he’s not wrong. No other plan has had the media and football journo criticism look mo has these last 15 games. Christ, Konate threw the towel in months ago - but nobody talks of dropping him?! Mo doesn’t score for a couple of games and the whole system needs to change!? Players can have dips.
December 6, 2025 at 11:35 PM
Exactly. That’s no Mo’s fault the club have made a mess of transfers and left themselves with this issue. But as a result he’s the fall guy ? - you prove his point exactly.
December 6, 2025 at 10:32 PM
Weird. Why hasn’t he dropped Ibou then ? Or VD? 24 goals shipped in 15 games. But all Mo’s fault? - how’s that work?
December 6, 2025 at 10:25 PM
Slot has a different title vs when Klopp was at the club. Klopp had a say in club affairs, transfers etc. Slot is only a coach, the hierarchy have made business decisions that aren’t in line with the coach’s vision, it’s a breakdown between on the pitch and in the boardroom. It’s messy.
