Travel anywhere, nature walks, ocean life, gardening, tree hugger, caregiver for IBM, fantasy and scifi fanatic. And just to be clear, truly despise what is happening in the United States.
A bucket list item checked off, and what an incredible one. From PR traveled to Calgary for an overnighter before journeying to Jasper, Lake Louise and Moraine Lakes, and Banff.

And this is why Democrats lose. They make it an issue when it shouldn’t be.

Another week of impossible travel with my husband who has advanced IBM (inclusion body myositis). It’s so difficult and he’s so brave. Took a gondola to top of Mt Louise onto gravel trail. Ten steps that strangers from Colombia helped him transit.

I live in a magical place. Easy to to disassociate with the mainland. It’s difficult to watch the decline of the United States. Tired of hearing people are being misinformed, they are just stupid and lazy and happy to blame others. Time to turn on activism again.

Change just a bit of your own world. Stop buying single use plastics as much as possible. Buy unpackaged produce. Use cleaning cloths rather than paper towels. Simple. It’s a start.

While the knuckleheads take over and spew their ideas, we can make a difference ourselves. Vote for candidates locally and treat these votes as critical to getting our country back. Get involved. Be a poll worker. Hold a sign. Talk to your circle. Don’t shy away from conversations.

This is hard to watch the ascendancy of democratic beliefs become shattered by idiocracy.

I’ve always supported space exploration, but it’s hard to understand why ‘visionaries’ pursue living on Mars, while making Earth uninhabitable.

…but there will always be good people to keep us moving forward.
Don’t let the idiots win.

…but then I also realized, we just have to fight. Fight just like we had to do when we fought against slavery. About voting rights. About Jim Crow. About women’s rights. There will always be ignorant people swayed by evil…

When I first read the results of the election in the US, I was shocked. Stunned. Afraid. In tears.
And then I realized it’s always been this way. We elect fools, idiots, haters, fraudsters all the time.
