i had the random idea of "what if i draw my xiv chara as a megaman x sprite" for no reason other than practice

my friend wanted a cookie so i drew one for her. another friend suggested it should help shoot things like an option that floats around you

i learned a fair bit about the sprite style

This also meant I had to balance the DPS of every defender. This turned out to be a bit of a problem too, because we had skills with active frames and cooldowns, that would ALSO scale based on their character stats.

Balancing these required making another tool, to simulate the DPS rotations.

For each wave it would estimate how much DPS the player would be able to do at that point, with information on how much reward was given, how long it'd take players to defeat a given enemy, how much backlog, and so forth.

I wanted precise control over how long stages were.

getting back to work on #Addlemoth finally after way too long and too many distractions (it pains me, it really does)

doing work on the final stage select tilesets; they're going to be 12x12 in the final version instead of the 8x8 they were in the demo, because they're more expressive. WIP
