I've not touched d&d since the late eighties but enjoyed the Year Zero Engine stuff from Free League when the Alien RPG came out.

I bought into The One Ring version and just dropped a pre-order for the Elven Kingdoms expansion book. The Moria expansion is a must for the dwarf players out there. ⛏️

Wargaming is fractured anyway. Some people will only play GW, others won't touch it. Some of us will only play historical wargames while others will prefer fantasy and sci-fi.
