I loved what I heard from @rob-for-ndp-leader.bsky.social not very long ago: the economy is made by the people who work. They know better about the economy than the ruling class.

I'd rather say that he showed us what's possible when you stay true to your principles and you're not afraid of talking openly about socialism and how that's good for the people.

Yes, I agree, all land should be given back.
My response was to the idiocy of the US administration saying that the land should be given to a country based on language. We have been down this road before and it brought us nation states in Europe and, as one of the consequences, 2 world wars.

Of course, land back to the indigenous people, everywhere.
My original response followed the faulty logic of giving the land to a country based on the most spoken language, ergo most US States to the British, others to Spain, etc.
