It's just something inherent, I couldn't see a stray animal and walk away. We still rescue a little bit. We adopted a young dog abuse case (he's chubby & happy now) & a young cat. We have 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a re-homed turtle from the Bronx I named Yankee of course.

One of my dogs was abandoned in an enclosed yard and luckily rescued by the local humane society. Pebbles and bits of twigs in his stomach. We gave him a great life. Albert the Beagle with his big brother, Murphy. Both in Heaven now. I'm gonna send what I can.

I am so blessed with this cozy log cabin. Me, my husband and all our rescue dogs and cats and rehomed turtle are safe. House is paid for, we're surrounded by woods and fields, no crime, but also no sidewalksand streetlights lol. I pray that our disability and social security checks keep coming.🙏🏻🥹🐾🐢
