Sorry Kara Swisher, I love your bluesky posts but digital restaurant menus are cold and lack human interaction. Restaurants shouldnt feel like a Skip the Dishes meal eaten at home

I totally realize that this is a first world problem - but note to restauranteurs - the next time that i go in to a restaurant and it only offers an IPad digital menu ( or QR code ) without providing me a paper menu and proper waiter then I will walk out.

Some old man advice to restaurant and bar waitstaff. Never leave a customer waiting to pay the bill - nothing good can come of it, plus it is the time that he contemplates the tip for service. Get his money and get him out the door asap.

If governments and the airline industry want the flying passengers to be without stress during air travel, then how about working together so that flights depart and arrive on time. Just saying.

Is it just me being old yet new to social media, but i don't get why the Bluesky algorithm pretty much shows me the same folks on Discover as I am already Following? Shouldn't the algorithm identify to me only new folks it figures that i would like to know about?

As i wait in the long Alberta queue for knee replacement surgery I was prescribed a custom made brace. Picked it up today - so far so good.

Quite a coup last night for WestJet being a Stephen Colbert satire subject. I applaud its initiative to remove the recline function of economy seats. As a tall guy I value my legspace and never understood why those who choose to lean back can do so by using MY SPACE. Will fly WestJet more often now

So the USA Ambassador to Canada feels that me and my fellow Canadians are mean and nasty people for doing little things to stand up for threats to our sovereignty. WTF??? We are the mean and nasty ones??? I encourage Prime Minister Carney not to submit to a Shakedown in the trade talks.

Ive surrendered to the osteoarthritis in my right knee. Today I had my first injection of Synvisc One to provide pain relief and improve mobility as i wait for knee replacement surgery. I will update on the effectiveness of the injection for me over the weeks and months.

I can't gag low fat yogurt, and it mystifies me why grocery stores try to sell so much of it. Don't they see that it is regular fat stuff that sells quickly? Further, what's up with some brands of yogurt featuring proten percentages? Who is looking for that? Just being a grump i guess!
