What I can’t figure out is where are all the GOP types who screamed about government overreach and a police state when Obama and Biden were in office. This is literally their nightmare come to life and they’re either cheering it on or crickets. Are they all hypocrites?

On 18 April 2025 agents from ICE arrested (he was eventually released) a former Afghan Army soldier at his home in Oklahoma. A plea for help, the soldier live-streamed his arrest. Here’s a screenshot of it that his friend’s created to spread awareness of the event.

In that same announcement Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem claimed that Afghanistan was safe enough to start sending Afghans back and that an unspecified # of cases of “fraud” made allowing Afghans to remain a threat to public safety and national security.

It finally happened. Just received my first confirmed evidence of ICE targeting an Afghan wartime ally (a former Afghan Army soldier who was granted legal asylum) for detention and possible deportation. He went live on social media with the agents attempting to enter his home in Oklahoma City.
