I upgraded my specific PC with a 500W so it’s def doable (not sure what the Omen uses though) but again… you’re throwing more money at a really locked down system when there are better options for not a whole lot more.

I haven’t tested it personally, but other people who’ve tried stuff like a 5600x have said that it doesn’t work. Would love to be proven wrong though — 5600g and 5700g are dumb expensive for their performance.

It’s also only a 400W psu so you’re really limited there too unless you can find a compatible HP proprietary drive.
It’s definitely doable for gaming but there are other prebuilts within $200 that are much more upgrade friendly.

Be careful with these prebuilts. HP heavily restricts supported cpus so your upgrade path is near nonexistent. I have a similar ish one from 2021 with a 5300G and it literally only supports 3 CPUs. Not a big deal since I only paid $60 for it and it’s office use only but…

PS4/PS5 has been my primary for years, but I was looking forward to the Switch 2 being powerful enough to have rock solid performance for indies. Now it seems like I have to either choose between Key Cards or significantly higher prices. I’ll just keep using PS5 🤷

I’m still sticking with BlueNotify for now. Hopefully they can iron out the issues soon, but as of now I’m not even getting vibrating alerts when a notification comes in. Similar thing happened with BN but was fixed with an OTA update.

Spending near $600 when the PS5 exists for $450 irks me from a value point of view, especially since I favor PS re: better hardware. The Game Key Carts aren’t doing me any favors, either… but how else am I going to play Nintendo games for the next 8 years? Their IPs are some of my faves.

I have large hands and hate the feel of joycons. I bought one, though I would’ve just kept plugging along with my pro controller if it supported turning the console on.
I have to admit that it is a little frustrating that they don’t have a SKU that just includes the tablet and a pro controller.

Could you look into notifications not vibrating on silent on iOS? Blue Notify had a similar issue that the dev was able to fix without updating the app.
