Beat Dispatch today, for sure up there with Telltale's best. Some of the characters i expected more of and the dispatching gameplay wasn't much until halfway through. But the writing was fantastic and when it did come together the dispatch gameplay was so fun

Rolled credits on ZA. A great Pokemon game that had a fun story and a great fun experiment with the battle format. Legends continues to be a great fresh part of the franchise.

Beat FFT today, still has a great story and some good (but way to grindy) gameplay and enjoyed myself fine with it. But i can't shake that the exclusion of the wotl content and the weird way they did include the cutscenes in this hurt it slightly sadly

Some Spider-Man thoughts
The weirdest decision in Tactics Remastered is that they got the gorgeous cutscenes upscaled and voiced in there, but they are hidden away in a back menu, and they play the scene with the sprites in the story instead. That's even weirder than not including the wotl content

Marvel Zombies was a fun time, gave me lots of phase 4 character interactions I wanted for a while, fleshed out that world a little but felt like we could have 2 more episodes to let it breath a bit and has a ending thats cool if left that way but could just be s2 bait

Finished It Takes Two with my buddy Momo . Great game loved that it just kept throwing new mechanics at you at every corner, but like the ending from a gameplay perspective felt kinda lacking like story wise it was great but gameplay wise i feel like we could have done more

Another great beaten, with the anniversary I got in the Mario mood and finally decided to beat Galaxy, which i missed on Wii. Fantastic game had so much fun but man i tell you some of the worst powerups in any of these and honestly could have done without the wii motion stuff

After slow replaying for about a year or 2, I've rebeaten Final Fantasy Vii. Not much new to say this game is still a 10/10, materia is still the best system. Only new thing i can say is that over the years, the ps1 graphics of the game have become really charming to me

MGS Delta is probably the most 1 to 1 recreation of a game I've ever played. Which is fine cause its a still one of the greats and what little changes that are there are welcome but i do wonder if moving forward with mgs Konami is gonna be terrified to say anything interesting.

Beat Sword of the Sea tonight, a wonderful little experience that looks drop dead gorgeous and invokes vibes of Journey. If you got 2-3 hours this is a great way to spend them.

If Gamescom showed me one thing, it's that action games are back the Phantom Blade 0 was my game of the show with its incredible combat and animations. Ninja Gaiden 4 and Onimusha also delivered in the gameplay and visual departments 3 day 1s right there

Other then some train troubles on the way back, its been a great return to Gamescom. Played tons of great new games, met some new people , caught up with some friends and all and all took in the vibes of game celebration. For sure wanna head back next year
