At least the British just burned it to the ground. This guy is turning it into a gaudy pile of shit. Lucky you

We’d be better off changing teams imho

I locked in too soon… still 4.7% was a big improvement on 6.8 or whatever year ago

Not just here to do any job, he’s here to do a terrible job

Ashley Church is a ghastly man who says atrocious things. One of maybe half a dozen people I’ve blocked on LinkedIn.

Why’s it unacceptable? It really makes me wonder how people like Brownlee think - the sorts of coach referees that cheat for their team. Morally bankrupt

I must have slept for a day. Stanford rolling Luxon?

I half-heartedly admire her delusional levels self-confidence.

Feels like late Delian League evolving into Athenian Empire. ‘Perfect storm’ danger for NZ democracy imho

Dirt on Seymour
July 30, 2025 at 7:06 AM
Every day I wake up to this government doing something worse. They’re shamelessly anti democracy.

We should bring back Athenian ostracism

A certain type of person loves this stuff. They also listen to Hosking and nod their heads along with him.

Without mentioning that Fonterra among others carefully manage supply to ensure there is a shortage. Something something like OPEC.

He protects pedophiles but calls an election day registrant a drop kick. Meantime. I really do wonder what’s in Seymour’s closet that he’s not repulsed by a pedophile in his ‘team’ and actively protects them.

In a real democracy Tories would NEVER win.
July 24, 2025 at 4:36 AM
He’s surely pulling our pony tails
July 24, 2025 at 4:22 AM
100% this. Cigarette tax changes. Gun law. RSB. Etc etc. Oozing with the slime of lobbying and corruption. And this overseas influence bill. And obscuring lobbyists / lobbying from public view? I agree, why hide that if you’ve nothing to hide…

little was minister of health through to 1 Feb 2023. They got a temporary fda clearance late 2022 which he presumably helped them with in some way. Given the brevity of the email it probably wasn’t an awful lot. That one seems like a minister helping an NZ company offshore - a red herring
July 23, 2025 at 9:41 AM
So you did.
July 23, 2025 at 9:32 AM
You’re assuming there are journalists of any credibility left in NZ. That’s a bit of a stretch.
July 23, 2025 at 9:29 AM
At some point someone’s going to figure out what Fonterra’s unit cost p/kg of butter is. What margins it makes on this product to wholesalers overseas & see if it’s Fonterra or supermarkets or both gouging the hell out of people here. Because all our stuff is cheaper to buy overseas.

This one does not sound problematic, actually. But there are plenty of other examples that do smell bad.
