In an old band I was in the bassist had basically memorized music theory, so when I would build synth patches I would just ask him what notes play nicely the song we were working on. He would drop into the matrix for a sec and then rattle off a bunch of notes for me to use. My human arpeggiator.

Audio books provide a completely different interaction experience for me. If I like a book enough (Expanse series is a great example [thanks @abraham.bsky.social ]) I will revisit the work via audiobook and absolutely pick up things I missed first go around. Perfect for my 6K mile road trips.
