That’s all they say. They acknowledge and move on. They don’t churn out endless content about how influential or not the source is as they do with X. They give it significance it wouldn’t have without them.

They can cover it without giving it so much attention or engagement, just like they do every other communication channel. “X said in a statement”, the statement is the story, not the channel.

They are. X only has influence because the media insist on covering what’s posted there. It’s not shaping regular people’s views anymore. As evidenced by that thread.

And yet even the most sensible parts of the British media still refer to X as the biggest most influential place for political discussion. They’re just as indoctrinated as MAGA.

It’s already in the UK. The Guardian likes to clutch its pearls but if they actually bothered to go to one they’d see it’s just a sports bar, there’s nothing seedy about it.
