The clean energy transition will look in retrospect a bit like demographic transition. Some countries are moving faster than others. Laggards will catch up as learning curves shorten. Once it takes hold it will go under its own momentum.

+ a few insights: 1) Social class is fluid. Traditionally it's the intersection of education and income. But we can't ignore self-identification. 2) Don't expect party loyalty based on race or ethnicity. 3) Let's stop the language police nonsense. It's off-putting.
