From a hitting perspective, I think we all agree. In your experience, would it hurt his long term development at SS if he went up a level and wasn’t ready? I assume the Tigers believe the incremental value of two weeks of AA ABs doesn’t seem worth the risk if he’s going to flounder defensively.

Interestingly, the #Tigers have good team speed and take the extra base at a very high clip. I believe their analytics support putting pressure on the D is critical, but doing so going 1st to 3rd vs trying to get in scoring position with less than 2 outs.

I promise you, we import more than 3x what China does and each of those imports now will mean US consumers will pay 8-10% more for each item. Not sure this is a “win.”
