No, he won it by default as the right wing vote was split. Corbyn got more votes than Starmer. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the tories are out, but it's an embarrassing way to win an election for Labour. And they had to find a tory to lead the party in order to win, so who are the real winners here?

I don't think there's much chance of either party creating additional parties, particularly if the long game is for them to be destroyed and the anger shifted towards the voting public that was demanding change. Also, there'd still be 2 turds and a douche left!
