My second son, Arlo, was born today. Amazing. Life is fantastic. We just had pizza garden. Canucks are on. Little man’s sleeping on mums chest. She’s doing great. Got a big ass coffee. Going to watch Zodiac on an iPad a bit later.

Got to tick a major Canadiana box last night by catching Sloan at the mighty Creekside theatre over in Lake Country, BC. A fantastic show from some absolute legends in the game.

Well we have confirmed Baby2 is gonna be another boy - and I've been scowering the casts of 70's crime films as well as band members from the first wave of UK punk rock and I haven't found a cool name for him yet :(

It's finale night - and I still have two dogs alive in my Survivor Suvivor Pool. Somehow I drafted Joe and Eva so things are feeling pretty okay. The one thing that's certain is this season hasn't been very much fun at all. Here's hoping I at least get some money out of it.

Every so often a miracle happens. Like, for example, when a bottle of cola is refrigerated almost to the point of freezing but not quite, becomes a slushie upon exiting said bottle into the right temperature glass. This is what it’s all about soda folks.

Only a few days into the Canadian election cycle and I am sick of it already. Only silver lining is that my riding seems to be seeing a meaningful uptick in lib support for the first time in ages. Unrelated: I get to go buy a Pinata for Sonnys bday today. Will cram it full too. That will be nice.
