What I love about Vine is that at 09:10 on Friday my son was watching cartoons on Channel 5. At 9:15 Jeremy is looking at him through the 4th wall asking if he thinks Prince Andrew is a nonce. The tempo shift is incredible.

Will do! I'm actually going to try and pitch a book idea to my work about how the gas industry has been presented and represented at world's fairs, great exhibitions and in museums. I've always loved the optimism of such things.

That sounds interesting! Not a venn diagram I'd have assumed existed. And yeah if I ever did a part 2 to my thesis it would stretch from the silk mill lock out to the first labour MP and how surely that wasn't a coincidence. I just don't know what happened in between!

I (15 y.o) in an old farmhouse in Ludlow in room with brother and sister. Every time I closed my eyes I saw and heard a medieval battle. Finally got to sleep. Later I Suddenly woke up shouting "we need to let him in, he wants to come in". Convinced someone was standing at the front door.

I loved the postman books and my son loves each peach pear plum and funny bones. We have a book-themed scarecrow fest in the village each year in Sept. Got to start thinking of a suitable homage!
