Yes I found it very depressing and was harassed because I spoke up about it. Its unhealthy mentally and it greatly effected me and I stepped away and felt very cynical for a while. It did the opposite and pushed me away. Hardly progressive.

Absolutely spot on. This was sadly a narrative to be heard all too often when I was more involved with certain left wing community organisations. Of you weren't angry 100% if time, every day yoy were I quote "part of the problem" incredibly silly, and incredibly unhelpful in the long term.
