Anyways, rant over. Both players had incredible seasons that deserve to be recognized. Both players are first round picks that will have long NFL careers.

It reminds me of when Marshall Faulk didn’t win the Heisman.

The fact that DC know Jeanty is getting the ball and they still can’t stop him is wild. That’s how good he was this year.

Was Hunter good? Yes, that’s not a question or even a debate. He was unreal. But Jeanty did things we haven’t seen a RB do for quite some time.

My reason for Jeanty>Hunter is this: EVERY team KNEW Jeanty was going to get 20+ carries a game. And what did he do? Still averaged 200 yards per game. Ran for nearly 200 against Oregon. And Boise State’s lone loss was to Oregon.

Could it work? Sure. But just a very strange move by UNC.

BUT…Fresno State lost, on Black Friday, to San Jose State by a score of 62-52. So instead of a Fiesta Bowl, we ended up in Vegas against USC and got smacked. How quickly things change.

We were told a win in the finale would lock in a spot for the Fiesta Bowl. Of course, we were hyped. That’s a dream for a lot of us to go to a game of that nature.

I know Hunter played both sides of the ball. That’s amazing and unheard of.

Honestly, I’d say give them both the Heisman.
