YYYY-MM-DD is great for sorting. No need to parse to get a correct sort (assuming ascii or Unicode - haven’t used any other character encodings like EBCDIC so IDK if it holds true there). Definitely my favorite format when doing CSV work

The 1 line fix bugs can be the most troublesome ones to find and fix correctly. 3+ hours for a 1 line fix is really good; I’ve spent days trying to reproduce and diagnose bugs which ended up being “just a data race because someone forgot one line here” or “oops, didn’t invalidate the cache here”

Whenever I launch an editor, my very first thing is to turn off all AI nonsense. I want the non-AI autocomplete which, ya know, works

Yes, and also when the variable goes out of scope when it’s on the stack. And for smart pointer (shared_ptr, unique_ptr) it also is called when that pointer cleans up automatically
