I saw these on the shelf, got super excited because I love Sriracha, bought 'em, took 'em home. I ate like 4 chips and stopped in just absolute disappointment and disgust. So gross. I even tried to eat some more, thinking I just needed to get used to the taste. Nope, couldn't do it at all.

I've done a similar thing to myself. I work 2pm till the work is done (sometimes that's 2am!) and I picked up a part-time morning job that starts at 7 or 8am. It's super tiring to juggle the two schedules, but the fuck you money is amazing!

Yeah, insurance is brutal. Most people here would try to blame the Californian transplants, or Washington drivers (and some of it is the clash of those opposing driving styles) but I think it's not enough enforcement of traffic rules. They used to be waaay too strict, now they're too lax. 🤷♂️

Yeah, mostly need to drive everywhere. It's better to walk than wait for the buses. You *can* ride a bike, but it's super hilly, even through town, and the drivers are really bad (Oregon has the 2nd worst driver in the US! 😬)

I'm over in the PNW (it's really the best place ever), and probably need a new roommate in about a year. But I'm not in an area with good public transportation. It's gotten better over the years, but it's still not reliable or regular.
