My mom keeps telling me that there’s misinformation online, this is definitely it

Who tf are the others? Unless you mean to tell me that the libertarian party has somehow managed to get to 5% the polls.
December 18, 2025 at 1:03 PM
The fact that they managed to poll everyone in Newfoundland is kind of insane
December 18, 2025 at 12:52 PM
I do also apologize for being a little bit more hostile, and using slightly crude language
December 15, 2025 at 2:31 AM
Actually, you would be surprised, the New Brunswick green party isn’t super left-wing and from what I’ve seen is trying to learn more conservatives over. There’s a lot especially young conservatives who are more so the “protect the forests” type. Green Tories if you would haha

At the end of the day, we’re all driving for the same thing, we may just have differing opinions on how exactly we get there!

Hopefully we don’t have an election for a year or so but by then, hopefully a plan has had time to be tried and tested. I appreciate your perspective as well!
December 15, 2025 at 2:26 AM
Thankfully, that’s not actually as big of a concern out here as it is out in BC. Both Pierre and Mark were in Fredericton a few weeks back at the prefab home manufacturers so hopefully either of them can get something rolling and we could be a benchmark test for you guys

As for rent, it’s dropping pretty drastically, but that’s more so as a result of construction finally finishing on new units. Average rent for Fredericton was nearing 1500. It’s now dropped down to 1300 for a one bedroom. Rent cap helps a lot too
December 15, 2025 at 2:18 AM
It’s somewhat similar out here in New Brunswick, however, prices are not dropping as fast. The issue out here, though is more so in influx of westerner moving out here. It used to be that we could buy a small house for 175k, taking a look today it’s 350k….
December 15, 2025 at 2:17 AM
That is a fair point, I have been thinking that some of the timelines that he’s given are just unrealistic because he doesn’t realize how slow the government will really act.

His plan for prefabs isn’t bad, what I think it’ll really come down to is how long it takes to actually implement
December 15, 2025 at 2:13 AM
Housing prices are dropping yes, however, a 15% drop doesn’t really do much when housing costs in New Brunswick more then doubled in the last decade. Also we need a lot more than 40k houses

Also, not sure where you’re getting the 15%, but the Canadian housing index has is down 2.58% year to year
December 15, 2025 at 2:09 AM
What I’m saying isn’t that they do absolutely 100% have the solution and all Pierre needs to do is wave a wand and it’s all fixed but at this point, I would argue that it’s better to just give them a try because there’s a chance that they might do something as opposed to the liberals doing nothing
December 15, 2025 at 2:01 AM
You’re gonna see more and more people continue to drift to the right if you guys keep saying that our valid talking points about housing and affordability are just misinformation. All we want is a safe place to live that we own and the liberal screwed things up so we can’t right now
December 15, 2025 at 1:57 AM
He promised that he’d have the ball rolling back in July, it’s December and nothing. Also, you’re the one who brought up the pipeline.

I wish no ill will and if he can’t solve the problem great but they’ve had 10 years to fix the problem that they caused.
December 15, 2025 at 1:55 AM
Also, I know this sounds a little bit hostile but isn’t meant to, we can’t just keep giving power to people who caused this mess in the first place. Sure there’s a new head and he’s slightly more competent but at the end of the day, it’s the same caucus. Realistically, what can our generation do?
December 15, 2025 at 12:10 AM
So my entire generation should just give up and never own a home and do nothing about it?
December 15, 2025 at 12:05 AM
1. Unfortunately, greens don’t have a big chance to win rn
2. That pipeline is just getting built regardless of who’s in charge unless Elizabeth May manages to seize control. Liberals flipped so damn hard on their green agenda

If the pipeline is getting built, I’d rather be able to afford a house
December 15, 2025 at 12:04 AM
Trust me, I’d much rather vote for the greens but right now I’m still leaning conservative, they may not do better, but at this point, they’re the next best option
December 14, 2025 at 10:31 PM
It’s not that, it’s just none of the other parties are talking about things that matter to us like making it so that way we can find good paying job and houses, the other parties keep asking us to sacrifice, if they got their head out of their ass and actually deep things to help us they do better.
December 14, 2025 at 10:30 PM
No no it has to be Canada, she can’t do any damage and it would be funny
December 12, 2025 at 4:52 PM
Let’s make Elizabeth May the prime minister and have her enter into a confidence and supply agreement with the liberals
December 12, 2025 at 3:52 AM
Maritime PCs are actually still PC and normally run around where the federal liberal party does. Higgs in NB was the one exception, but he faced a party revolt and got punted out of office for his troubles.
December 9, 2025 at 3:02 PM
It’s a good idea, this doesn’t mean that civil servants are going to be on the front lines of a war, there’s a lot of desk jobs in the military that you need to get done for the combat arms to do their jobs
December 6, 2025 at 9:30 PM
Wait till you find out about Maxime Bernier
November 28, 2025 at 6:00 PM
Why is this being polled? Like seriously what relevant does this have? Are they just trying to burn money?
