Job : ex investment banker. Investor. Writer. Teacher. NHS Trust Governor.
Interests : Politics. F1. How the world works.
Family : Wife and kids mean everything.
Interestingly weird.
Obviously it won’t be the finished product but that thing will drive completely differently to a full ground effect car. Differently to the 2020 cars as well.

I don’t have anything against JT at all, but I can’t see her or Renee standing up to Claire.
Just imo, it it would have been good to recruit outside of Arsenal - somebody fresh with new ideas.

Typical Wheatley. Appoint somebody who isn’t going to argue or stand up to her, somebody who is no threat to her position.

In the mean time, arguably the best player in the world that Arsenal need (and Arsenal fan) has slipped through the net and is going to another UK club.

Maybe the political parties could put a fraction of the amount of time and effort fighting the imaginary trans threat into such an important topic that actually effects the health, lives and in the worse cases deaths of women.

He’s walked into his very own Vietnam. If the US are on the ground the attacks will kill Americans daily and the attackers will drift back into the general population and the jungles.

Not convinced that Arsenal need Stanway.
She’s an attacking midfielder who would play in a frontal pivot role-They already have more players in that role than you can fit in a bus. (mariona, palova, KCC, etc)
What they need is a defensive pivot role now that Walti has left and that isn’t Stanway.

Nothing says reasonable and sane like spending the first few hours of a new year spewing hate on a social media platform.

It won’t.
They simply implemented some of the stability updates that Racing Bulls applied over the previous 12 months to give the car a bigger working window.
They won’t be copying from them in 2026.

I know this isn’t a view witout much traction, buts it’s why I think lotte might be a good replacement for a Lia role. She’s got the footballing street smarts and is highly intelligent. She can defend, thread a ball cross field to the opponents corner and slow and speed the play up as required.

The big question isn’t who won, it how few votes they got.
Unison has a membership of 1.5m people but only a tiny fraction could be bothered to vote.
Less than 5% voting for the winning candidate isn’t an endorsement for anybody.
Also, massive influx of “activists” but to only win by a this..

Having an npv below long term govt debt prices makes no sense at all.
Having a single npv for all green book projects makes no sense at all.

Two questions (sorry).
Specific : I noticed in the second half, at times fox switched to the right, LWM then charged up the left wing and fox was essentially left as one of two central defenders.
Is Renee trying to find news ways of using LWM, does it mean anything bigger?

He’s damaging his prospects now.
If you keep saying stuff like this, it starts to sound desperate and disloyal, rather than a white knight answering a call to arms for the good of everyone.

How else is Zia/Reform going to tell the world and the BBC audience that they are currently boycotting the BBC without going on the BBC programs?
They also need to keep going on the BBC to tell BBC audiences that they are ignored/cancelled/de-platformed.

You know it makes sense.

I am sorry, this is a none story.

There is a Labour MP who failed to declare a Tesco’s meal deal correctly, they should have paid tax on it, and there are clamouring demands for them to resign.

I very much doubt you could just steal an iPhone. They arnt exactly left on the shelf to pick up.
Also, there would be a tonne of evidence to either prove you had the iPhone before hand or you had paid for it - bank statement. What a bonkers example.

And in the BBC news it’s just above the news article that friends is leaving Netflix.

So they don’t regret the comments, just the on line abuse from a well know toxic fan base.
Tbh this pathetic apology is more embarrassing than the actual comments.
Marko - creepy, racist grandpa, should he named and shamed.

So the new unit he raced with in Brazil was run so high/hard, it lasted for 2 race weekends worth in total.

I think you find that some very large bets were made on GBP movements and Interest rate movements.
Bets that didn’t pay off.
If I were the govt, I would investigate any large unusual market placings/activities.
Gilts, for example, experienced some sharp peak/valley movements for 20min

I kind of feel a little sorry for max. He’s so driven to succeed, or at least look like he’s succeeding, he’s ruined a friendship for no real reason.

It’s a sad indictment of how he was brought up.

Having spent several weeks on a jury in a rape case, my experience is that the public are completely incompetent at judging anything serious or complicated.
The man, against every bone in my body, was found not guilty because the jury came up with every implausible reason to find a grain of doubt.

It’s okay, we’ve had to put up with both Piers and LauraK on BBC this morning. Believe me, anything you do is far down on that scale.
