We also detect widespread evidence of selection against gene flow, as well as localized regions of adaptive introgression - highlighting the dynamic role of hybridization in shaping genomes.

In this study, we used coalescent simulations and WGS to reveal a complex evolutionary history of recent and ancient introgression between endemic island monkeyflowers.
