This was my big takeaway from "These Truths." You go, "oh we have always been this way about almost exactly these same issues."

With kids you also do this like, "Jeremy Michael's dad" ... And all those -son surnames make sense, too.

It seems like a lot of the sincere hesitant people landed on, "I totally understand some people genuinely need it, and some who don't still want it. I just want a chance to make my own decision." This stance kind of flies against all of that.

That was our take with the kids. They preferred it when it felt like a JB movie, we preferred it when it felt like a ND movie.

In rural Virginia we do not, because we don't have trash service. Everyone has to toss bags in the truck and drive them to the "green boxes" themselves.

I don't know squat about any of it, but I wonder if the extreme brightness and blown highlights on these is a product of maybe the physical prints becoming duller through use and needing to boost them. Or maybe the opposite is true and they just blow out over time through use?

I logged in here once when I created the account and then for the second time the night of the election. Staying there felt complicit. I had already deleted the T account, so it was either this or nothing. Pleasantly surprised a bunch of others came along!

This was a big one for me, the conversations around big events were a huge part of why I loved it. But when that kind of dried up, all that was left was a feeling I was encouraging the ownership over there by staying.
