Had such a great time speaking with filmmaker Derek Tsang and introducing his emotionally devastating, genre-blending 2019 film BETTER DAYS at the Academy Museum. The Oscar-nominated feature was screened as part of the series, “Raising the Lantern: A Celebration of Chinese-Language Cinema.”

I had a blast at the TCM Festival, introducing Charles Walter’s lovely MGM musical, LILI, starring the great Leslie Caron. Thanks to the entire @tcm team, my husband, the MHL Library staff … and my childhood puppet, Lucky Pierre, who had been waiting for his moment in the spotlight for 56 years!
