Meta Knight VS Ultraman Hikari
This is Meta Knight’s best matchup, and I will die on that hill
The connections between Meta Knight and Hikari are that they are both blue and silver galaxy knight warriors who started off as anti-heroes before becoming more heroic. They are both allies and former rivals to very kind and naive young warriors (Kirby for Meta Knight and Mebius for Hikari). They both wear armor that has been broken in the past and wield extremely powerful yellow swords with a red gem that they have given to their allies when they weren't able to fight (Meta Knight has given Kirby Galaxia a couple of times, usually when he cannot fight and Hikari gave Mebius his Knight Brace and blade when he had to return to space). They are also both somewhat unique mentors to the main protagonists (Meta Knight mentors Kirby with his dueling and Hikari took the form of the previous GUYS Team leader). Both have been imitated by an imposter (Dark Meta Knight disguised himself as Meta Knight and Alien Babarue disguised himself as Hikari). They are also both revealed to be related to their close friends when their armor broke (Meta Knight is revealed to look like Kirby and Hikari is revealed to be an Ultraman after his armor broke). They both have been influenced by dark forces that oppose friendship (Meta Knight was corrupted by the Jamba Heart and Hikari by the Armor of Vengeance) before coming to their senses by the power of friendship by their closest comrades. Additionally, they both have a revenge motif (Meta Knight's subgame and theme song is called The Revenge of Meta Knight/Meta Knight's Revenge and Hikari was filled with vengeance and wore the Armor of Revenge).
