Hah! I used to live a few blocks from that bridge and Cornell Roofing was my little league sponsor.

The bridge got its money's worth on that one.

Ok yeah, I thought you meant nominate someone more centrist. Do we have any numbers on lefties in swing states actually not voting? It's very different to withhold your vote as a protest in CA where you know it won't matter vs. say Michigan.

It doesn't get more centrist than Biden/Kamala. That's nonsense.

If January 6th didn't convince enough normies to jump ship, nothing will. They will normalize and forget everything the next time you wave a shiny trans grievance in their face.

College Football has changed just a wee bit.

A reminder that Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra’s parents emigrated here during a period when Italians were considered to be a genetically inferior and criminal-minded underclass that Stephen Miller’s racist predecessors said should be excluded from America

Don't forget the dramatic description of what sounds like a standard transition pass in a regular-season basketball game.

Check out the boojum trees in Baja sometime. By law, all travel writers must mention Dr. Seuss or use the word Suessian when describing them.

Tim, you are a national treasure. Thank you for all that you do!

100%. If it looks like it's going to be one of those weird situations, I just put it on my card and have people throw me whatever they think they owe. I used to wait tables, so I'm always hyper aware of the impending bill dynamics, and it stresses me out.

The whole argument rests on the assumption that you're equally likely to make the first 2pt-er as the second, when the defense will be more gassed and reeling from giving up two quick TDs.

I don't know if we can say for sure that's true.

The only part I take issue with is the assumption that you're equally likely to make the 2pter going first or second. Maybe you're not? Maybe you're appreciably more likely to make it when the D is gassed and reeling from giving up two quick TDs?

Yep, like the LA Super Bowl with Snoop, Dre, et. al.

I believe Tony Romo won his first start. I wonder if there are any other undrafteds.

What does he do other than grunt or give a one-word concurrence with SVP every 30 seconds?

I enjoy how every new version of MacOS fails to send pics and screenshots to group texts with iPhone and Android users, but in a different way. Currently, it always fails, then a minute later asks to retry, which works.

Public libraries were once an incredibly controversial idea. We may be headed back there soon!
