Sonder is a comic about how each choice you make ripples beyond time and space.

If you're into JRPGs, isekais, ensemble casts, weird sci-fi, coming-of-age stories, doomed romances, and/or complex family drama, I think Sonder might have something for you.

Couple of weeks back. Feeling pretty lean at this point. Little ways left to go before I pause, maintain, then bulk.

I had a friend in elementary school. We used to "play" Mega Man, pretend we were bosses and all that.
One day, I was at his house, and he was like, "We're going to meet this guy who has Mega Man X!"
My kid brain thought that sounded like the coolest shit ever.
Cue that guitar shredding title screen.

Maybe, if you have to keep having this conversation, people just don't fucking want to pay for Clanker slop.
So stop trying to cut corners and just making fucking video games. Like has been done for an eternity.

If games stopped needed to make "ALL THE MONEY" we'd have a much healthier industry.
"Surely there's a middle ground here?" The CEO of Helldivers 2 studio Arrowhead says people "jump to extreme takes" when debating generative AI, and that there needs to be more nuance in the discussion.

You notice how there's never really been "tools" in the past that companies had to make statements about their usage of?
Activision's statement on AI assets in 'Call of Duty'

"We use a variety of digital tools, including AI tools, to empower and support our teams to create the best gaming experiences possible for our players. Our creative process continues to be led by the talented individuals in our studios"

I love this.
Super Mario World has an extremely eclectic art style whereby many enemies are drawn in completely different ways. Development files reveal Mario went through many stylistic changes; it is possible that all the enemies were made to fit Mario, but at different points in time.

they all write/talk like this now and it feels like a new genre: hate smut; manic, agitated vitriol that reads like it was written while feverishly masturbating to revenge fantasies
it's utterly wild how the Heritage Foundation president talks about other people

if you found a guy talking like this outside, you'd probably call the cops

800 million people?
Man, there's a global education crisis then.
A year ago, 250 million people were using ChatGPT every week. By February, it was up to 400 million. Now it’s 800 million. Of those, untold legions of people are confessing their innermost secrets to AI.

This is the story of two people—and their bots—on the very edge of therapy's new frontier.
The Haunting Story of Two People—and Their Bots—on Therapy’s New Frontier
As millions confide in ChatGPT about their most intimate problems, these relationships are even stranger, more moving, and more insidious than we've imagined.

I don't understand the idea of the government being able to force any union back to work.
If everyone just chooses to quit, what are you going to do about that? If EVERYONE just refuses to work, how are you going to solve that problem?
You lose people when you choose profits first.

The destruction of the White House is like the most obvious metaphor I've ever seen.
Yet another example of "If I put this in fiction, everyone would say it's tacky."

I keep seeing headlines like this.
"LOSE WEIGHT WITHOUT DOING ANY WORK"
Stop. Stop doing this. It misleads people into thinking there are tricks to losing weight.
This says, "Switch meat for beans."
- Beans are high in fibre
- Bean group exercised more
- Intake was self-reported

Shit is so harmful.

I started playing Unicorn Overlord the other day. I forgot I'd bought a physical copy a while back.
This game should be so much bigger than it is.
I'm just getting into it, but it truly is incredible. And when you think it doesn't get deeper, layers just keep getting unfurled.

I support B.J. Blazkowicz, famous Antifa leader, founder, and revolutionary.
Still think Antifa isn't violent? Here's bodycam footage of Antifa founder B.J. Blazkowicz shooting a heroic member of ICE who was just trying to protect this great nation. Thank God we have Blazkowicz's girlfriend in custody.
