@robertmays.bsky.social I understand that Ben Johnson brought a lot to the Lions offense mostly in the form of timely play calling and detailed schemed up plays, BUT the the philosophy of the Detroits offense has been Dan Campbell’s from day one. Let’s give some credit to the players too.

I am so tired of nothing positive being able to gain traction politically in this world where there is story after story of negative news, but none of it sticks, privileged people with political armor are allowed to get away with actions that no one in the regular world would get away with.

@nickbaumgardner.bsky.social I’ve watched way too much about sumo wrestling over the years, mostly because I think it looks like a martial art for linemen, but the pipeline from Mongolia to Japan is a real thing, and they are built like NFL linemen. Somebody has to tap into this eventually.

@nickbaumgardner.bsky.social People have forgotten, or never even knew all of the the individual incremental steps that Lions have made to turn this franchise around. It’s not an accident that this team is respected and admired around the league and in the public regardless of their record.
