After originally DNFing The Well of Ascension and more than a year later I finally finished the book. The second half was much better for me than the first.

I picked this book up a while back but never really started it until now. So far this is one of the most beautifully haunting books I’ve ever read.

I picked this book up a while back but never really started it until now. So far this is one of the most beautifully haunting books I’ve ever read.
I enjoy many different authors and various styles of writing but if I could boil it all down to just two authors that reflect my favorite style and stories it would be these John Gwynne and Bernard Cornwell. I know they are different but they capture the best of medieval style fiction and fantasy.

I’m currently reading and enjoying Wild Skies by K.E. Andrews quite a bit. It will be available for purchase on November 22!

So I’ve never been one to read Shakespeare but recently read Macbeth with some friends and really enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to reading more of his works!
