This CBC report is a wake-up call. Fascist 'fight clubs' are here, in Ontario, organizing.
When a group is giving Nazi salutes and on tape threatening to 'f--k these people to death,' we have to believe them. This trend is a clear and present danger to our democracy and our families.

This is a perfect example of our obsession with treating symptoms instead of root causes. We spend a fortune on reactive measures, while claiming we can't afford the proactive investments like housing and healthcare that would actually solve it. It’s a costly approach, we see it here in Canada too.

Thinking about all the extreme heat and poor air quality warnings across Canada lately. A stark, hazy reminder that climate change isn't a distant, abstract problem; it's here, now, and impacting our daily lives.

Good morning from the garden.
first hibiscus bloom.
jalapeños filling out.
tomatoes still pretending they’re limes.

This is how you attract the people who are going to build what's next.

Egyptology. The only thing you can do with an egyptology degree is teach egyptology. It's a pyramid scheme.
Great joke but it highlights a failure in higher ed. They learn research, critical analysis, and storytelling. The problem isn't the degree; it's a system that doesn't help see those skills.

My take? Excellent.
Helping young people feel seen and informed is crucial. The only real issue here is the backlash itself.

If our economy worked like Mario Kart, those in 1st place wouldn’t keep getting golden mushrooms.
The further behind you are, the more support you get. It’s wild that a game figured this out decades ago.
Blue shell the 1% might not be the worst policy idea.

AI news is loud, but tools like Google Astra could actually move the needle, especially in elder care.
The system is stretched thin and slow to innovate. But a voice assistant that helps with calls, meds, emails, and directions?
That’s affordable support Canadians can desperately benefit from.

Fixed your headline, @newyorkpost.bsky.social. The problem isn’t just Americans, it’s global. If we want change, we need to call out sexism everywhere, not just when it’s politically convenient.
Let’s raise the bar, not just the headline fonts.

That's why the feds are able to do stuff like the NDP's dental and pharma despite healthcare being provincial and how housing was a major part of the liberals platform.

In Canada the group of angry 25–35 yr olds have every right to be mad, low wages, no homes, broken healthcare, but the guy rallying them wants to gut the very systems that could help. Unless we rebuild what worked for past generations, they’ll burn it all down.
