Is the UK able to use its deterrent without US authorisation?

I clicked cancel subscription but it then said I can't cancel my subscription as I have paid up to 14th Feb. I've now turned off recurring billing. Do I need to wait until after the 15th to fix this?

My wife had a pug when she was a child that would eat string and then get constipated. She once pulled the string out of its arse which was accompanied by an audible pop and followed by a powerful unloading.
