I'm mostly here for lacrosse. A little bit for politics. Oh and cats. Always cats.
Hey now, if they can queue, have practiced normal hygiene, and generally have etiquette, I'm not begrudging someone for being comfortable before they're crammed into increasingly cramped metal tubes.

Doing this without the Switch emulator's ability to rewind is truly an achievement. Friend of mine and I could never get through Larry's Castle. That save files lives in infamy.

Any more details on the injury? I recall it being his hip and know he's struggled with that, but this seems like it must be fairly extreme to be ruled out even post regular season.

Some fans? Try the creators. Or, I don't know, the definition of immigrant? Or more precisely, refugee. Sham headline and reporting.

Maybe Conor should try not middling the road and just calling a spade a spade instead of dancing around the reality.

Lmfao - "there are microchips in the vaccine!" Crowd becomes the "Wear this so we can monitor you!" crowd. You cannot create more poetic irony

Does this mean @georgetakei.bsky.social subscribes to @aftermath.site ? George, please, send those journalists money.

Breaking News: rich white people in affluent community drive old car - are they more practical than the rest of us? Is the Corolla the secret to generational wealth?!

(Or are these clowns just afraid to flout the wealth they did nothing but be born to gain?)

Came to say exactly this. A dude trying to do public good? Unqualified! A charlatan who conveys a mystique that smells mysteriously like bullshit? Must be the next Zuckerberg! (Wait. Isn't that a bad thing? Didn't he have a net negative impact on society? Nah, we at NYT love the addiction machine!)

This sucks. Gotta feel for Dordevic.

It's time for the league to end this chinstrap over the mouth trend. Dordevic losing his season is the example I use while coaching on why to wear the chin properly. Now it's his career. Awful.

Losing a talent like his is worth enforcing an equipment rule.

That feels more like Dune to me! But I feel as Star Wars or Dune could fit for either of these descriptions.

Please be just his rights. Been waiting for that man to be back on a PLL field for nearly two years now

Championship players could actually get a break between leagues this year! Love to see it

How do we access the subscriber only episodes?

Maybe I'm being obtuse. I don't have Apple podcasts, don't see them on Spotify (I also don't subscribe to Spotify, but podcasts are free(right??)), and don't see any other way to access the shows. I want to listen to this episode! Help!

Aw look! It's a calling card for "I'm afraid of women"
March 17, 2025 at 11:25 PM
No, it makes her funny. It's a movie quote *whoosh*

But better than continuing to correct folks about something you were objectively incorrect about! And then name calling instead accepting you were wrong! Though, I guess that's funny too, but in a "I pity you" way, less a haha way...
March 17, 2025 at 11:14 PM
Weird. You want others to shut their mouths, but can't manage to do so yourself? Just admit you were wrong and rude instead of continuing to name call. Do some self-reflection, maybe grow as a person?

Goodness! My teeth are fine, they're just covered by my lips? And bad teeth don't equal bad breath, anyway, I can be minty fresh with crooked teeth.

Do you need a friend? You seem real mad about misreading the word "peruse" and maybe a friend would help. I can also tutor your reading skills!
March 17, 2025 at 10:40 PM
You started the argument by correcting a word you misread! You created the whole cycle of viciousness. I didn't help by then correcting you, but come on! You were wrong at the outset and now you're mad someone corrected you? Silly. Just silly.
March 17, 2025 at 10:34 PM
He used the word "perused" initially, though...

Did YOU look at what he posted? Persue or pursue, was never used.

Oh, and I said pedantic jerk, not fuckin jerk, but I can confirm - you are a fuckin jerk!
March 17, 2025 at 10:32 PM
Just noting "peruse" was the correct word to use. Not pursue. And correcting spelling/word choice/etc. on socials when you know full well what they mean just makes you look like a pedantic jerk. I'm correcting you here because I'm unsure you understand pursue vs. peruse. Is that pedantic? Maybe.

Never feel bad asking for our money! It may feel gross, but Aftermath fucking ROCKS. Checking the site is a daily highlight for me since I subscribed. Whenever I share an article I encourage friends to spend that $70 or $100 because it's great journalism from great people (and is affordable!).
March 6, 2025 at 7:36 PM
Have they published what the players got paid this year? I recall it being a big deal the first two years, and also a sizable chunk for pro lacrosse players, 5K for playing and 15K for winning, I think?
March 1, 2025 at 3:14 PM
The guy's made a career in journalism and you think this is somehow enlightening to him? Maybe, just maybe, lay-off the condescension kool-aid. It could make you happier!

Big opp! Hopeful the product translates well enough to TV. I've brought non lacrosse fan friends to the series every year and all say they would watch more of the 6s format/find it easier to follow. Don't get me wrong, I love field and box, but as with rugby 7s v. 15s, 7s and 6s are more accessible
