The best hope, at this point, is to get enough tiny font credits down in the corner of the screen until someone at a big newsroom decides you have enough buzz to hire so they can “make a splash”.

I’m really open to being wrong, but if this program was Frontline, they would have Miller included. They would NOT be in control of the language, though.

Leeeeeeaaaaak it.

The public interest can’t be selective, bro. Someone on the committee should put that on him.

They gave him the space (and the announcer shine) to hit it out of the stratosphere, and I think he did. Even Drew McIntyre gave him a lot. It was an all-around breakout for Oba. I imagine he’ll start popping up on the main roster a bit now.

We host larger official state events there all the time. We just have to put up shitty looking plastic tents to make it happen. That’s the part I agree is shoddy.

Like I said, very rough inquiry. But your point is exactly what I mean. I endorse the concept. All the execution is fucking shameful.

My gut take is a little torn here. I…..ugggghhhh….agree with Trump that it’s about silly that we can’t host (researched roughly just now) more than about 200 people inside the WH for a state dinner. So, I’m not opposed to fixing that. All the rest of the details are completely fucked and misguided.

The third person thing really creeps me out.

His mind has been grindred into syntax problems. No, Republicans aren’t “in charge” of the government. They are (as the OP says) in control of it. He wants to imply minutiae in the difference.

To be clear, same!

Yeah, I made overly offensive jokes out loud when I was in high school. In hindsight, I was subconsciously trying to understand the boundaries. My brain hadn’t wrapped around the moral fiber of real society yet. These are grown people who have big kid jobs.

I’ve generally contended that it was Boehner and McConnell saying their job was to make Obama a one-term president. Admitting that was game over.

The Provisional IRA didn’t commit to decommissioning until 2005, eight years after the final ceasefire in 1997. This was perfectly predictable.

A majority of voters should be in favor of making the immigration system not a fucking apocalyptic minefield. But John Boehner welded that door shut in 2013.

Really, we need someone to say “Brownie, you’re doing a heck of a job” about something. Then we’ll get it all back.

If anyone had the stomach to go through with it if needed, I would say we put hunger strikes on the table.

You’d think that since he wants to buy them, Trump would love the income. Alas.
September 14, 2025 at 3:17 AM
“To do sanctions.” Yep. That’s the phrase.

Someone should tell Mike Johnson he will go to hell for staying with this. As someone who believes in that God and judgement, it is a damnable offense to continue support.
September 3, 2025 at 4:17 AM
That is a terrible rug.

I hope one question, if it’s not a momentous announcement, is like, “I can’t remember the last time you shut the fuck up. Can you please explain that in precise detail?” I’m reminded of that storyline in The West Wing where POTUS was under anesthesia and no one knew who was legally in charge during.

How about we stop letting Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina convince good candidates to drop out 3 days into a campaign?
August 25, 2025 at 10:28 PM
Can we get primaries that don’t ask states that don’t matter first?
