Buckland really is the most curmudgeonly individual. Pretty sure he has oppositional disorder and is genetically programmed to just be exasperated. I hover on the unsubscribe button every time he opens his mouth….so draining listening to him whinge.

It’s also just been revealed the player has to agree to stay also. So if he does amazingly well then every chance another club could steal him.

One of Spurs’ best and certainly most mature displays under Postecoglou given all the context, particularly the ridiculous bad luck of losing Bentancur to what looked like a freak accident. Liverpool will be much stronger at home but Spurs’ squad should be deeper in a month.

The is point is not made enough. The lack of player of availability appears to have little to do with Ange’s style. Only adding one first team player in the summer has been the real problem, but it could have worked with more luck. Maybe.

But he doesn’t seem to identify the talent, only sign off on it? He’s been pretty clear on this a number of times and to me that seems like a very sensible balance/process.
