None of the minimiser’s positions stand up to scrutiny.
The problem is, as they get infected more & more & the brain damage mounts, not only are they unable to comprehend the facts, but damage to the Amygdala means we get more & more disproportionate responses due to the lack of emotional regulation

I got so sick of hearing ridiculously exorbitant starting prices from vendors I responded with ridiculously low opening positions.
Then I’d go lower every time they told me I don’t know how it works.
I didn’t buy much…

Apparently it’s worded in such a way as to only be Trump that can run a 3rd time, none of the other living exes can.

Agreed.
As a gardener, I switched a lot of thinking from ‘plant health’ to ‘soil health’ many yrs ago.
‘Feed the soil’ & the plants take care of themselves.

In that instance, as you say, the consensus would be that smoking was the ‘most likely’ cause.
The cause/effect of smoking/health has been known for decades, BUT, it took decades to reach that consensus too.

Medicine is a groupthink profession.
There needs to be consensus.
Something new takes decades to be universally recognised.
Politicians on the other hand are just following the winds; people got ‘sick of’ SARS, so they, & msm, moved on, to stay popular.

I’ve been wondering about this too.
Sleep studies have fairly consistently shown that 8hrs/night is learned, not natural & we feel more rested after 2x 3-4hr naps between 3am-7am/11am-3pm.
Anecdotally, I can wake up after 3-4hrs feeling great, but if I go back to sleep I wake up feeling exhausted.

I hear you.
My family has 100s years exp in med, med pol, med law, media & more; multiple fields that could make a difference.
Instead, they’re all living like it’s 2019, totally ignorant, in/out hospital. Rapidly declining without connecting any dots.
Now incapable of change
Very sad & frustrating.

"The pandemic might have been controlled in early 2020 if the WHO had defaulted to the precautionary principle and acted as if COVID-19 could be airborne. Instead they [...] discouraged people from proper mask wearing."

Hospitals are killing patients because they don't feel like doing infection control
We now know COVID is fully airborne. We also know how to control airborne disease. So why are vulnerable people still dying of hospital-acquired COVID?

I read recently that over the last 5yrs, USA billionaires have increased their wealth by $3.2trill, or 90%.
The poorest have lost $3.4trill.
I’d say it’s ’trickle up’, not ‘down’, but that’s a lot more than a trickle…

I don’t believe there’ll be a ‘grand awakening’ anymore.
Instead, like Spanish Flu, it will take 50+yrs for the ‘truth’ to slowly filter through.
All whilst lifespans, health & quality of life decline.
People are now just frogs in a pot on a stove.

Also in Australia.
Politicians here recently tried to tackle this with a ‘misinformation bill’ being proposed. The problem though, & I think it’s been squashed now, is what happens when it’s gov spreading the misinformation & policing what is/isnt ‘accurate’ information?

It seems a little bit of truth has upset Kathryn to the point of blocking me.
Wasn’t expecting that here.
C’est la vie.

No, I’m being realistic.
I remember.
5yrs into HIV/AIDS the research/funding was increasing, despite the politics.
5yrs into SARS & its decreasing.

I grew up in a household of Drs & scientists in Australia.
In the 80s, several AIDS researchers I knew moved to USA because that was the best (only?) place they could get funding for their research.
They may not have been successful then, but it was under way, despite politics.
