AuDHD. Love musicals, tinkering with new and interesting tech, and the occasional video game. Also cooking and baking. Trying to make the world a better place.
My reaction exactly

RIGHT! I love my Honda fit so much for this reason and I feel like I have almost as much cargo space as some midsize SUVs. Really wish Honda still made it in the US :(

Yea, hoping I can get a GameCube controller in a reasonable amount of time without spending above msrp

I feel like a measurable portion of a Midwesterner’s self-worth comes from how long they can wait to turn on the heat and/or air conditioner. Plus, it’s just rude to awake the air conditioner this early in the season

Same, but I knew about Ron Johnson already. Very appreciative for Tammy Baldwin

Ahhh that’s a real bummer. It really would be a nice feature. If you could assign accessories, you could probably do automations where when one person leaves all of their stuff turns off, but everyone else’s stuff stays on.

I wonder if you could tweak it a bit where a group posts could still be seen publicly and our surface and all the normal ways but in order to interact with the post, you have to join the group?

Might be useful for smaller community groups too if people could opt to see posts from groups by area

100%. There’s not a a great solution online to simulate a public hangout spot or group. Discord servers aren’t very discoverable and are quite isolated. I’m not a fan of meta but I feel like Facebook groups are the closest to filling this in concept.

I didn’t even know this was a feature. That’s both cool and so frustrating

I assume if you name the room “<username> and <username>’s Bedroom” that wouldn’t work?

(I don’t have multiple people in my home to test with unfortunately)

Astro Bot is amazing. I would also highly recommend Astro’s Playroom

For sure! Many online resources as well. My library offers full access to consumer reports along with Kanopy for movies and TV. In Wisconsin we also have BadgerLink which has tons of resources for research and education.
