Nicely done to get a foreground in the shot with it. Hard to shoot the moon that high in the sky with a foreground without making the moon tiny.

I stayed up and grabbed a few shots. Goal was to get some sharper images than the 2022 lunar eclipse. I think I did a bit better this time. As seen from Pittsburgh, Pa

I hate the time changes. Just pick standard time or DST and stick with it. It's terrible what we do to our bodies twice a year. Plus I annoy my family for a week before the time change saying the wrong time to prepare...

I am little late writing this but I wholly agree that the algorithmic complacency is a big problem. I actually believe it has enabled a breakdown of shared reality. We are surrounded by what we want to hear and no longer have shared realities which stifles communication making the problem worse.

Always gorgeous, but the footing can be a bit treacherous in spots when it’s icy out, with some nice drops into the water…..

Depending on where you live, you may be able to find a commercial office supply store where they will have used chairs you can sit in and test before you buy them. Finding the right chair is a game changer.

Appreciate the info! I figured there was too much data/detail for a single, non-tracked shot. Great work with your processing. Nicely balanced and nothing looks pushed too far.

This is a wonderful shot. Lots of detail and beautiful color. Is this a single shot or stacked, and was star tracker used?
