It’s like a fairy tale where the evil step-mom (Trump) takes the children’s (US citizens) inheritance (decades of good faith) after poisoning the father (system of checks and balances), then uses it to promote fascism and maybe some light genocide. The analogy maybe breaks down a little at the end.

It won’t be republican administrations footing the bill, though. When democratic leaders (ie. government that is committed to improving lives and upholding previous commitments) use government funds to repair this damage, it’ll be one more “fraud” the republicans disingenuously complain about.

He was actually licensed by the real ophthalmology board, but then let it lapse in protest of their recertification requirements. That’s when he invented his own board to call himself “certified.” But whatever he was, what he isn’t anymore is credible, moral, or blameless.

Never forget: John Barrasso (R-WY) Bill Cassidy (R-WY) Roger Marshall (R-KS) Rand Paul (R-KY) These four men are physicians. They all voted to confirm RFK Jr. and his anti-science nuttiness. Not one of them had the spine to stand up for medical science. Not one of them values integrity over power.
